TPMtv at Inauguration: The Manifest Hope Exhibit
The Manifest Hope Exhibit is an art gallery open during the inauguration that gathers together an array of visual artwork all focused around our incoming president. TPMtv caught up with producer and curator Yosi Sergant and Shepard Fairey, the artist responsible for the iconic "Hope" poster.

I thought this was bizarre (from today's LA Times): The Inauguration in LEGOS, that's right, LEGOS . . .
"Can't make it to Washington D.C. to see Barack Obama sworn in? Head to Carlsbad where Legoland recreates the presidential inauguration in (what else?) LEGOs. This has to be one of the weirder inauguration-themed events you'll see this year.
More than 1,000 mini-figures have been created out of thousands of LEGO bricks including Obama and his family, vice president Joseph Biden and his wife Jill, George and Laura Bush, Dick and Lynn Cheney, George Bush Sr. and Barbara Bush, senator Dianne Feinstein, pastor Rick Warren, singer Aretha Franklin, violinist Itzhak Perlman, cellist Yo-Yo-Ma, the Unites States Marine Band, the San Francisco Boys Chorus and the San Francisco Girls Chorus. Savvy park guests can also spot Oprah Winfrey in the crowd the historic occasion. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a large LEGO mosaic made from more than 16,000 bricks and depicting King’s famous "I have a dream" speech will be on display Jan. 17-18.
The LEGO inauguration is open during regular park visiting hours, but LEGOLAND California is closed on the actual inauguration day, January 20."
