Biden's Office: We Do Not Comment On His Private Conversations With Specter
Vice President Biden's office is not giving any details on a report that he has tried to recruit Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) to switch parties.
As we posted on earlier today, Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA) said in an interview that he has tried to get Arlen Specter to switch parties -- and according to Rendell, so has Biden.
Biden deputy press secretary AnnMarie Tomasini tells TPM: "Our office does not comment on the Vice President's private conversations with Senator Specter."

Oh, just wait until biden gives a press conference or gets asked a question about it. He will spout off about everything they talked about from college basketball to specter negotiating a switch and what the terms are. Just wait.

I have an idea.
Instead of getting Specter to join them by becoming a Democrat, why don't the Democrats all join him by becoming Republicans.
Judging from Obama's actions so far, especially on "national security" and the continuing bailouts for billionaires it would just be a change in labeling anyways......

I can't help but feel that this is just Arlen wanting attention again. He is Liebermanesque. Arlen is one of guys that it is always about him.
