Contessa Brewer to House GOP: Where's the Beef?
MSNBC's Contessa Brewer had much the same reaction to the House GOP's alternative budget as did our own Elana Schor. "Where's the beef?" She sounded off in what her co-anchor called a "rant", but what might have better been described as an accurate assessment of the Republicans' budgetless budget.

Ahh, so the GOP timed their release of nothing to coincide with Obama's internet town hall.
Figures.
It's the only way they could ensure someone was watching the T.V. It must be hard to be them right now. Nobody wants to listen to them because they don't have anything of substance to say.
Pathetic really.

Fix the vides, if I have to go to a different page just to see videos I am going to stop clicking. It was perfectly fine the way it was before.

Is Melissa Francis on MSNBC now? God help us. Leave her over on CNBC where she can't do as much damage.

I was watching Obama's town hall live at lunchtime, and Contessa was hosting on MSNBC. She broke into the president's event to cut to the Repubs with a big buildup, and they had Cantor and a series of them grousing about deficits, with no plan of their own as promised. After four or five Repubs, she cut back to Obama with some obvious frustration about the bait and switch. Obama was awesome (except for the interruption).

It's pathetic when your aristocratic non-budget budget even pisses off Contessas. That's your target demo, morons!

I have to say I really can't stand Contessa. It's not a personal thing, I've never met the woman or anything like that. It's just that when she's on she likes to play "Devils advocacy for dummies" (as I like to call it) and seems genuinely confused at times when dealing with complex or unfamiliar topics. It's part of a larger MSM problem where sensationalism and photogenics trump quality of programming and unfortunately, Contessa represents the worst. (outside of faux news of course.)

Who is the news actress appearing with Contessa? I'm starting to see her a lot now and I find her annoying. Shouldn't she be on Fox Noise?
