DNC Rolls Out Anti-Limbaugh Billboard
The DNC has unveiled its new anti-Rush Limbaugh billboard, set to be put on display tomorrow in Limbaugh's home town of West Palm Beach:

The slogan, "Americans didn't vote for a Rush to failure," was the winner of a contest held by the DNC, in which Democrats across the country submitted their ideas for the DNC to pick from.

Silly waste of money. I mean I believe I read the DNC gave Scott Murphy a whopping $5000 towards his campaign against Tedisco.

I agree WM. How about they spend their time educating the electorate on why they should support the President and Congress, rather than spending time, effort and contributions on this silly obfuscation?

Me three. This is just assinine. I am not amused, nor do I find it effective. This is just totally absurd. It only impacts on the base that will vote for dems anyway. I think it is counter-productive concerning indies and republicans. Why do it? Stupid.

me four. and we who disagree w/this are definitely not concern trolls.
i am a comedian by trade, and i have done a plethora of commercials, so i know a small thing or two about getting a message out.
and my problem w/this is, it's just stupid. uninteresting phrase, totally unoriginal pun, poor copy, worse graphic.
this is the best thing the dnc could come up with? it's so grade school in its execution, that they might as well had said "rush limbaugh: i know you are, but what am i?"

Point taken, Skippy. Perhaps it could have been a better concept.
I really like the clownish concept, though. A super slick concept could unintentionally give Lardass too much importance.
This one kinda makes him look stupid. I love the cigar. My opinion.

I don't think this is stupid. I think this is worthwhile. I have seen young people grow up having not much opinion, and be completely swayed by listening to Rush everyday on the radio at their construction job.
You and I may not be swayed by this, but many are swayed by such, and, more importantly, if some loudmouth can become more an object of ridicule, this can make a difference with people who might not be paying much attention anyway.
I have always worked in persuasion idustries, and I hate to tell you, but people aren't paying anywhere near as much attention to the news as you and I and others here. The GOP knows this and they gained a lot of ground over 30 years by using ridicule and mockery. If you think people are paying attention to important facts, how do you explain the last 8 years?

Sock it to the lardass of evil!
Ignore the concern trolls. You can always count on them to voice disapproval.

Not as bad a billboard as all the whining would indicate.
The words "America" and "didn't vote for" and "Rush" and "failure" along side a big cartoon of the big cartoon.
Not that bad.

Pathetic. Old news. Boring used car lot concept. DNC fuddy duddy approach, when they should be going for the freaking jugular every day on TV and radio with a fresh attack based on yesterday's most egregious, hateful lie.
And furthermore, Limbaugh must be destroyed.

The important thing is that it's in his home town. The purpose is to goad him into doing/saying something stupid. Rush is his own worst enemy. Getting him mad will cause him to do more damage to himself than the DNC could with any ad campaign. The man is an egomaniac. It's his fatal flaw and the DNC is exploiting it.

So all they've got is that one truck?
You know, it's a big country.

I think Rush Limbaugh has done enough self-mutilation to his image. This probably won't do anything.

Wow. I am most definitely NOT a fan of Rush, but I find it very disturbing that someone who is not a politician is being attacked by the DNC. Doesn't this bother anyone to see such an organized effort to silence someone, even if he is an idiot? I find it very unsettling.
