Republican Candidate Name-Drops Obama In Ad
Here's the newest ad from Jim Tedisco, the Republican candidate for Kirsten Gillibrand's former House seat -- seemingly tying himself to Barack Obama:
Tedisco says: "Like the President says, in these difficult times, we're not Republicans or Democrats -- we're Americans. And that's the team I'm on."
This ad comes a day after Tedisco said he would have voted against the stimulus bill.

Tedisco wants it both ways, he can play above-the-fray, while having the NRCC mudslinging. Also if he isn't a Republican why is he running as one? Why not run as an independent, if he is such an independent thinker? Didn't the Chamber of Commerce come out in favor of the stimulus, the same one he finally got around to saying he'd have voted against? Name instances where his views differ from the Republican Party platform?

Just to repeat, I *really* want to see this SOB beaten.
The idea of the Palin/Limbaugh/Gingrich/Steele/Boehner/Cantor/McCain/Romney victory dance is too hideous to imagine. The way to tell them to go Cheney themselves is to beat this lout.
