Dem Petition Gets 100,000 Signatures Asking For Norm Coleman's Concession
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee's online petition asking Norm Coleman to finally concede defeat in the Minnesota Senate race has now reached 100,000 signatures, DSCC communications director Eric Schultz has just told me.
"The numbers speak for themselves," said Schultz.
"People across the country want Norm to give up," he explained, "because they want that 59th Democratic Senator to get the Obama agenda passed."
It's worth pointing out that this is probably the same underlying reason that a lot of Republicans want for Norm to not give up.

While the sentiment is admirable, anyone who thinks Slimy Norman's going to walk away because of a petition, even one with 1 million signatures, is delusional.
I really wish the Khazeminy (sp?) case would move forward and yield an indictment. That might get his attention.

Yeah. Subpoenas have a way of doing that...(see the 1981 movie "Absence of Malice". Wilford Brimley has a great cameo pointing out that very fact).

The GOP cannot accept the votes counted much less peoples signatures. It looks like this is going to have to play out in court where the outcome will make the GOP either look foolish or like crooks, what a stupid position to put themselves in.
If they would have recognized the loss and moved on, perhaps they would have more sensitive to the problem brewing with Specter and could have held on to that Seat.
This is now the Party of stupidity.
