Message to Conservatives: Troops Like Obama Just Fine
A few months ago, when Barack Obama gave his big Iraq speech at Camp Lejeune, conservatives pounced on what they (and some in the mainstream media) described as the Marines' iciness to their new commander in chief, particularly compared to a previous reception for President George W. Bush.
At the time, some noted that the marines greeting Bush were "at ease", while the marines greeting Obama were "at attention." Today Obama paid a surprise visit to troops in Iraq and they greeted him with loud cheers, then swarmed him for photos and handshakes. Watch:
I expect emphatic apologies and corrections to pop up across the conservative blogosphere later today.

Enthusiastic approval from Marines in a combat zone? If you analyze it closely, it is clear that this is a terrible problem (!!!!) for Obama(!!!!!!).

When Obama went overseas with Hagel and Reed during the campaign he was greeted rather raucously by the soldiers.
