Coming Soon: Michele Bachmann -- The Comic Book!
Our good friends at the Dump Bachmann blog are now getting their message out about our favorite House Republican backbencher in a new way: A comic book, entitled False Witness!
Dump Bachmann contributor Bill Prendergast teamed up with local cartoonists in Minnesota to write an illustrated history of Bachmann's career -- with her dialogue all culled from actual media appearances, such as her call for revolution against President Obama, or her request for the media to investigate Congress for anti-American views. Check out this cover:

That's just a link to the CIA public face provided by Bachmann. She couldn't have come up with this herself by any means given that she can't think more than 3 words into her future.
My personal favorite CIA public relations product is a little box of "spy cookies" available from the gift shop. Of course, you have to go to extreme lengths to get into that gift shop, but the tour is fun.

Well, after years of having actors, musicians and jocks getting into government, I suppose a comic book character was inevitable. Usually though folks make their name in another arena before coming to Washington.

You have to wonder: Are people in that section of Minn. so angry, paranoid, and vicious(APV) that they vote for this Ms. Bachmann, APV in spades? Perhaps this explains how normal, uninvolved voters might support her--with press collusion driven by not wanting to upset the business-side apple cart. She is angry, paranoid, and vicious and she hates our President. And he's such a moderate guy. Perhaps Gibbs was right--Criticize Sotomayor and Obama will send the black helicopters.

There is a rural upper midwest tradition of grudging acceptance of shall we say the eccentricities of one's neighbors. This normally includes politics as well as various other social issues. While a time-honored allowance is permitted to one considered a "local", such leeway pretty much excludes "Bat-Shit Craziness" unless there is a family history that extends the normal boundaries . Michelle falls well within the realm of BSC. I'm assuming that come the next election, there will be a not so subtle, even for a gerrymandered red district, Come-To-Jesus moment for MB!

Gosh, I think Michele is one of the best things that ever happened for the Democrats. Her and Michael Steele are also the most entertaining people around anymore - they ought to join up and take their act on the road together.
Leave Michele Bachmann alone! She's great for us.
