GOP Candidate For New Jersey Governor Agrees With Rejecting Stimulus Money
Former U.S. Attorney Chris Christie, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination in this year's election for Governor of New Jersey, appeared on Sean Hannity's show Monday night and agreed with governors who reject stimulus money, saying governors should have the ability to decide how to spend it:
"I think it makes sense," said Christie. "If they're going to put strings on that money, that are gonna to tie your hands and make you expand programs, and not be able to have the freedom of choice that the people elected you for, then you shouldn't take the money."

Christie is right. No state should be forced to take federal stimulus money.
The people of any state should be free to choose between taking the money and its strings or passing it up. And in NJ they get to make that choice this November: Vote for Corzine and take the money or vote for Christie and let it go to some other state.

The republitards need to remember that NJ comes in dead last in terms of money we get back from our taxes sent to DC. I'm pretty sure most voters are happy to get their fair share of stimulus funds - especially in these economic times.
