Limbaugh Calls Sotomayor And Obama Racist, Says GOP Should "Go To The Wall" Against Her
Rush Limbaugh is taking a strong stance against the Sotomayor nomination, declaring that Republicans should "go to the wall" to oppose her:
"I doubt that Sotomayor can be stopped," said Limbaugh. "She should be -- she is a horrible pick. She is the antithesis of a judge."
He also said that Sotomayor is a racist -- or in a more softened term, a "reverse-racist" -- who was in turn appointed by another "reverse-racist":
"And the libs of course say, the minorities cannot be racists, because they don't have the power to implement their racism," Limbaugh expounded. "Well, those days are gone, because reverse-racists certainly do have the power to implement their power. Obama is the greatest living example of a reverse-racist, and now he's appointed one -- you gettin' this, AP? -- Sonia Sotomayor, to the U.S. Supreme Court."

The more vociferous Limbaugh is, the better.

This is great news. Either the Republicans block her confirmation and confirm that Rush is their de facto leader, or they crumple.
GAME ON!

True, but there are some good questions to be asked of Republicans in light of his comments:
Do you agree with Rush that President Obama is a racist?

Yup, you're absolutely right. Not that the news media will ask these questions. Hopefully, Democrats will push this hard.

Thank you for that excellent question! There is a reasonable chance I may see Eric Cantor sometime over the coming weekend at a local festival he always attends. If I do, I will definitely ask him your question point blank. Can't wait to see the "I am as dumb as a box of rocks expression" on his face!

It will be interesting to see how Republicans handle this. Rush coming out so quickly and so negatively means that on every blabberfest show about this nomination, whoever the Democrat is already has a built-in talking point: The Republicans on Congress are afraid of Rush Limbaugh, so of course they're going to oppose anyone that Obama nominates.
Of course, this presupposes that Democrats will, in fact, be invited onto those blabberfests.

Considering that his heart is surrounded by pig fat, black as ashes and pummeled by oxycontin, it needs blessing.

Yes! for once Republicans listen to your Leader. Soon your base will be free of women and Hispanics - just as you wanted it.

Leembaugh was opposed to Obama's SCOTUS pick before she was announced. The guy is a bigot, so he hates Obama. Rush wants Barack to fail at everything. Plus Leembaugh hates Hispanics and women, so naturally he is against Obama's Latina nominee.
Can't wait to hear Leembaugh's parodies on this one. Cheech & Chong, perhaps?

Okay I think I get it. If you hire anyone who's not white, you're a racist.
