Vanity Fair Palin Piece Touches Off GOP-on-GOP Hate
Looks like Bill Kristol read Todd Pardum's much-ballyhooed Sarah Palin story today, in which several faceless McCain campaigners talk about the, um, complexities of working with the Alaska governor.
Kristol, ever the Palin defender, took issue in a blog post on The Weekly Standard and zeroed in on one McCain aide. Pardum had written, "Some top aides worried about her mental state: was it possible that she was experiencing postpartum depression?"
So Kristol is naming names: "In fact, one aide who raised this possibility in the course of trashing Palin's mental state to others in the McCain-Palin campaign was Steve Schmidt."
Oh no, he didn't!

Yes, Bill Kristol is the same Nostradamus who told Terry Gross on NPR's Fresh Air in 2003 that the Sunnis and Shia would get along and that anything else to the contrary was "pop psychology." Brilliant!
Please, GOP, keep taking this guy's advice; I would love nothing more than to have Tina Fey come back in 2012 and help Obama get reelected. Please, pretty please!

Sarah Palin gets a bad rap. The liberal media has made a caricature out of her and I find it really unfair and distasteful. She's smart and talented and pretty and has excellent hair and family values. She is a role model as a woman and as a governor and as a woman governor. I think this country would be well served with a candidate like her representing the Republican GOP party in 2012.
And Tina Fey is smart and pretty too! Water rides, yay!!!
