Boehner: Democratic Health Care Reform Proposal Is "Criminal Malpractice"
Democrats and Republicans and their allies are reacting to the House's health care reform draft bill with predictable levels of support or opposition. Unions are supportive. With typical restraint, Tom Donohue of the Chamber of Commerce says "Since when does our great free market country punish success? If there's one sure way to kill the goose that lays the golden egg, this is it."
But I'd like to highlight the statement of House Minority Leader John Boehner: "During a deep economic recession," Boehner says, "it is criminal malpractice for Democrats to push a government takeover of health care and a new small business tax that will destroy more American jobs."
Criminal malpractice, eh? Somewhat ironic from a proponent of tort reform. But he goes on. "House Republicans have offered a better health care alternative that will reduce costs, expand access, and let Americans who like their plans keep them - all without a job-killing small business tax."
You can read that four-page plan here if you'd like. But if you'd like me to save you the time, here's a hint: it would achieve universal health care and bend the cost curve downward through a familiar Republican grab bag of tax credits and magic.

Sounds like he prepared the statement 6 months ago

"Job killing small business tax." Yeah, I'm sure the MSM hacks will be out there explaining how the bill has tax consequences the tax consequences for a business that clears and clears 350K rather than one that grosses that much in no time at all.

Wow, this guy's all boiler-plate material. Does he have an original thought left in his head? Or does his cognitive brain matter dissipate for days on end when he visits the tanning salon?

According to Boehner's former and present staterments...
Health Care reforms is completely criminal...
Torturing other human beings, however is perfectly acceptable and should be protected.
Boehner is proof positive that at least SOME folks have not evolved and would fit in nicely with the Neanderthals... club in hand... swinging away at the weak..
(no not Boehner... someone he has manipulated to go out in his place)... Boehner himself was discharged from the Navy after 8 weeks...

Boneher is way behind the times...He forgets that the four pages had NO DETAILS AND NO PRICE TAG AND NO WAY TO GET THERE!
But he might know something about 'criminal malpractice'- as that is exactly what he has been doing in the Senate for years!

Meanwhile, back at the budget, only Democrats could claim to save money, while spending an additional trillion dollars. Sounds like a Dagwood and Blondie strip.
Worse, the aforementioned trillion is likely a lowball, and only a fraction of the real bill. And speaking of bills, tax revenues are dropping like a rock. And just to make everyone's day complete, here is a proposal to make the bottom 60% of taxpayers new income rate zero percent.

What's next Boehner? Gonna warm up Terri Schiavo and compare her to health care reform?

I'm sure there's a GOP Talking Point that's being passed around for them to use the word "criminal" in as many of their opposition points to the Dems as possible. They want to bleed the word "criminal" of meaning in advance of Bush & Dick & Co. being discussed as criminals.

Start running ads in Boehner's district, and the rest of Ohio, for that matter: John Boehner thinks affordable health care for everyone is criminal.
Or: John Boehner thinks that if everyone else gets health care that's as good as Congressional members get, it's "criminal".
Any number of ways to make him pay for this.

and here i imagine that private health insurance companies are the goose, fatted with the pain, suffering and wages of average americans and the golden eggs are the obscene profits which the fat cats sit around polishing. a tiny tear is trickling down my cheek.
