Louisiana Dems To Vitter: Our Guy's "LuvFests" Are Legal (Unlike Yours)

"In contrast to the kind of luvfest David Vitter is used to, this trip was legal, public and no money changed hands'" said Louisiana Democratic Party spokesman Kevin Franck.
"As we all remember, the last time David Vitter made public comments about a 'luvfest' he end up begging for forgiveness. I am anticipating an apology from him for this web ad in the near future."
Franck also said that Melancon himself did not take campaign contributions at the event, which if true would further undercut the whole message of Vitter's Web ad.

These Gopers truly have no shame. After being caught with his diapers down, you'd think that Vitter would steer clear of any and all references that might bring that issue back to life. But sadly... no.

Could LA join that Texas secession party? Unfortunately, all their politicians are "tainted" it seems. Honesty is not a strong suit on either side. While I enjoy reading about them in books, their presence in Washington is disturbing.

Don't give up on us Texans just yet, remember Molly Ivins was from our great state, as was Eisenhower. However we did elect Bush II, but he was born in Connecticut so you can't hold that against us.

I'm surprised Vitter would even go there. I wonder if internal polling shows the race to be closer than thought? Or was this some sort of trial balloon?

This is exactly the right way to respond whenever Vitter makes an attack. Bring it back to his moral hypocrisy and remind people that he still has never answered any questions about it.

Diaper Dave - aka "Vitter the shitter" according to a couple articles I'd long-ago read.
This is one contest where the Dems going harshly negative really, really ought to be the order of the day.
