The Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America are teaming up once again to target a key opponent to the public option. This time, they're going after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA)
The groups recently teamed up to run a similar ad targeting Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska.
This ad will run 200 times in four Iowa markets and 100 times in Washington, DC over the next week, though the groups hope to extend the run. As ranking member on the Senate Finance Committee, and lead Republican health care negotiator, Grassley has said the public option is a non-starter.

What's bad for Grassley is good for America.

"Over $2M" should be "Almost $3M" if Grassley's industry haul was $2.9M...
There should be a "Bought and paid for" campaign highlighting the senators and congressmen and women who are against the public option. Show them to be sell-outs beholden to their corporate masters and their election donations.
Baucus, Conrad, Grassley, Enzi were all both were paid (yes PAID - Donations don't have strings attached) a lot of money from the insurance industry - it's time they were made famous.
A simple "Senator Baucus - Bought and Paid For" tag line, after highlighting all of the money the insurance industry has given him over the years would be powerful.

"100 times in Washington, DC"
Glad I don't live in D.C.
P.S. Glad I contributed to Democracy for America.

I think it's a great ad. Direct, powerful, and damning.
I'm a Republican, I'm a veteran, I'm a farmer, I'm an Iowan, and Grassley is a sold out corrupt politician who doesn't represent me, or my fellow conservative Iowans. In fact, he sucks. How simple is that?

You don't know how gratifying it is to hear you and know that the whole Republican party hasn't gone crazy. I think it's time for all people to start doing the right thing--Democrats and Republicans.
