Town Hall Attendee Thanks Specter For Visiting The Republicans
A conservative heckler just got off a shot at Sen. Arlen Specter's (D-PA) town hall.
"I'd like to thank you for having the courage to come to this meeting, with the people who have sent you to Washington" the man said, with apparent sincerity, "the Republicans."

The people at these meetings are the right-wing 1/2 of the 30% or so that are still Republicans. They tried to primary Arlen out last time, and were the ones who drove him out of the Republican party.
And I thought it was the voters of the state that sent a Senator to Washington, not just the Republicans.

I respect the way Specter walked down and stood face to face with the guy who was spewing out nonsense. It made Specter look strong standing up to a loudmouth bully. That's what we need to see more at these meetings. Expose their ignorance and partisan rage.

Forget the bullhorns and the death threats diving sane people away from townhalls, who in their right minds, valuing their sanity, would want to be in the same room with these fruitbats for 2 hours?
