Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) had some harsh words for President Obama at a town hall back home in Oklahoma, the Tulsa World reports -- indeed, Inhofe says Obama is doing such a bad job, he's not sure the country will last long enough for when the next Congress is sworn in, in January 2011.
"Every institution that has made this country the greatest nation in the world is under attack," said Inhofe.
And regarding Guantanamo Bay, Inhofe said: "I don't know why President Obama is obsessed with turning terrorists loose in America."
And Inhofe worries for America's future: "Those of you who think like I do, hope this country can hang on another 16 months."

Just once, I'd like to see a Democratic Senator stand up to this idiot and call for a censor of him. he is so out-of-line and there are no responses from from Democrats!
Why are we going down in the polls and losing the message war, DUH!

So you want to take away his right to free speech? That proves Inhofe correct.
Keep up the good work. People like you are why Dems will fail.

Imhofe is saying the nation is under attack, and terrorists are on the loose. If he will not give specific actionable intelligence I believe all available legal means should be used to make him talk specifically, where and when the attacks will occur and who is behind them.
We are talking about saving lives.

Oh you mean like the way the Dems failed to take both the House and Senate back from your party in 2006? Or the way they failed to increase their lead in the House and Senate and take back the presidency in 2008? Or do you mean the way the Dems fail to outpoll Republicans on the issues and in approval ratings as members of Congress?
You just create your own reality like it came out of a can of Play-Doh, Shooter. You can say black is white until your blue in the face. It's still black.

Inhofe is welcome to say it. Just as, under free speech, I am welcome to call him a pandering drama queen. No problem.

It's not an attack, they're just under delusion. We went all through this in the 90s. Do y'all really want to do it again? We can stop if you want. Just say'n.

You are absolutely correct. If a Democratic senator said this about Bush he would have ended up writing a book-length apology and reading it live on Chris Matthews. AND BUSH NEARLY DID DESTROY THE COUNTRY! Why can't the Democrats recognize that we left Planet Cheney a year ago? Wake up, dunces. The lunatics are no longer in charge.

Oh. I must have not heard the goats part. I really don't know why Senator Inhofe is obsessed with young boys and goats.
Those of you who think like I do, hope his constituents don't find out.

...would you believe 16 minutes? That was how long it took for Obama to be sworn in, and for them to forget the 8 disastrous years of the George W. Bush administration.

I think we should make sure Inhofe is on the teevee every day spouting this stuff. Maybe a panel discussion including Michele Bachmann and a few other assorted crazies. Let people see how completely nuts they are.

Well, we survived the "Contract On America" years, and 8 years of the Shrub, so I'm pretty sure we'll muddle through. Half of the right-wing talkers will have probably had heart attacks by then, and I'm sure at least a couple more GOP pols will have been caught toe-tapping or the like, but the country will be OK.
