Fox News Sunday: Sen. Kent Conrad (D-ND), Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Sen. Lindsey Graham (D-SC), and Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC).

Joe Wilson may have ruined one career, but his new career in Palin-land is assured.

Incidentally, this is just an inherently funny lineup. Consider what this says about who Fox considers to speak for the Democratic and Republican parties.

McCaskill must have drawn the short straw for the Dems this week.

Funny thing is, you have Lindsey listed as a "D-SC"...quite honestly he's about as much a Democrat as Conrad and McCaskill claim to be.

Fox's lineup is functionally GOP.

Do they still use the tag "Fair & Balanced"? (I haven't tuned into Fox in years.)

And they've fixed it! So maybe they do read the comments? But then why do they ignore the pleas to include Fareed Zakaria?

and...

• CNN, Fareed Zakaria GPS: This week - an in-depth look at Afghanistan. The election, the war, the country as a whole. All riddled with problems. What can the U.S. and the world do? We'll speak with two of the Afghan presidential candidates, with Michael Ware who spent a week in the heartland of the insurgency, and with a panel of experts debating the options.

Wow, my count has 10 Dem appearances versus 9 for the Repos - that is what you get for 60-40 in the Senate, 256-178 in the House and residence in the WH gets the Dem; a 1 talking head advantage. Crazy.

Based on this excellent piece by Robert Reich:

The Final Sprint for Health Care Has Now Begun, and Where the White House is Placing Its Bets

http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/blogs/robert_reich/2009/09/the-final-sprint-for-health-ca.php#comments

the two sides in the Healthcare debate are:

Big Pharma and those who serve her interests

vs

the Democratic base (organized labor, grassroots progressives, leading activists) whose main goal is to make health care more affordable for a hundred million American families who are now paying through the nose (higher and higher co-payments, deductibles, and premiums, not to mention wages that are depressed because of employer-provided health insurance), and affordable to the tens of millions who can't get it now.

Is there anyone on these Sunday shows representing my side?

According to Reich:
The Dem leadership got the message [from Obama's speech]. Yesterday, Senate majority leader Harry Reid said that while he favored a strong public option, he could be satisfied with establishment of nonprofit cooperatives. And Nancy Pelosi, who as recently as two weeks ago said the House would not support a bill that didn't include a public option, passed up a chance to say it was a nonnegotiable demand. When pressed, she said that as long as legislation makes quality health care more accessible and affordable, "we will go forward with that bill."

Great question for those like Joe Wilson who obsess about health care for illegals, from user Shoq at Twitter:

WAR GAME: Brown person walks into ER, and says "I think I have plague." Do you admit & treat, or demand a green card?

Doesn't Oral hatch have anything better to do on sundays. He is on almost every sunday. Isn't he religious and doesn't he go to church? Ah, I guess not. He can't be very religious based on the lies that he spews to screw the poor.

Wonder where mcbush is this sunday? I can't believe he isn't making an appearance. Maybe he is on vacation.
