Bill O'Reilly sent his correspondent Griff Jenkins after Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL), to try to get Grayson to explain or apologize for some of his controversial remarks: Calling a female lobbyist a "K Street whore" -- for which Grayson has already apologized -- but also for calling former Vice President Dick Cheney a vampire with blood dripping from his teeth, saying that Fox News is an enemy of America, etc.
Grayson was none too happy, repeatedly telling Jenkins to make an appointment. Interestingly, Jenkins also claims that he staked outside Grayson's office for several hours, and that Grayson attempted to get the Capitol Police to get rid of him. Jenkins said he's tried to make an appointment with Grayson's office, but there's been no luck.

Grayson should go after OReilly. What an easy target. Loved his comment about Cheney. Cannot wait to hear his opinion of Billo.

Grayson should have asked Griff about Bill O's sexual harrassment suit that he settled. Did he stake out Bill O's house? How about Ensign? or his parents? Fair and Balanced?

Grayson is doing what makes most sense which is not to deal with them. O'Reilly and his gang of kooks are not worth dealing with.

I agree. They should be taken to task every time they do this crap. They continue to do it because they get away with it. I am sorry Grayson apologized for anything he has said. No thug has apologized to Pelosi or Obama for the horrible crap they said about them and others.
Screw all of them

So presumably there's an MSNBC counterpart to the O'Reilly directed ambushes by Griff?
Who is the MSNBC ambusher? Cause I've never seen MSNBC ambush a right-winger.
But for fun, somebody should tell the Beck/Limbaugh crowd that it's a guy named Hugh G. Rekshon. Would love to see them go after Hugh G. Rekshon.

This is just more proof that Bill O'Reilly is fair and balanced. Who could forget his series of sneak-attack camera assaults against the powerful Republican congressional majority from 2000-2006? All those "gotcha" moments where Republicans were forced to defend their... oh, forget it.
Republicans are assholes. Every Democrat and every liberal should respond with disbelief that *anyone* takes the right seriously. Disdain and marginalization is what a healthy, functional society would give these nitwits.

Clavis,
who said we are a healthy, functional society? When the MSM marched lockstep for Bush-Cheney and the WMD nonsense for almost 8 years, and they allowed cowards like Cheney and Rove to question others' patriotism, we cease to function normally. Why is anyone still watching Fox News? Because they enjoy hating the mainstream and the Left, they would rather see America fail than Obama and the Progressives succeed. Sick.

Grayson is getting a quick baptism in the ways of the media. It was great when he got up and told the truth about the Republicans' health care plan. But what's the point of saying blood drips from Cheney's teeth? Grayson has the ability to force the media onto his turf by saying things nobody else will say - so he should be careful which pieces of turf he stakes out. A national discussion of whether Cheney has blood dripping from his teeth doesn't do anybody any good.
On the other hand, there's no reason he needs to back off from calling that lobbyist a whore. She was Enron's lobbyist. Case settled.
Time to add a little discernment to your arsenal, Congressman Grayson.

I think it is very admirable of Bill O'Reilly to refrain from calling Rep. Grayson a bad name. Maybe Bill has seen the error in his ways.
Grayson should find it fairly easy to expand on the statement of Cheney's blood lust without straying from the facts. And whoring oneself out has been an analogy for a long time, especially when there is monetary compensation for lowering yourself to do another's bidding. Taking offense at this (because it was in reference to a woman?) is like the feigned outrage over Obama's 'lipstick on a pig' statement.
