Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) has already suggested she won't vote for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's health care bill if it comes to the floor. Now she says she could prevent it from getting there in the first place.
The AP reports, Snowe will vote with the GOP to filibuster the bill "unless changes are made" to Reid's plan.

Maybe she'll lie across the tracks with Michael Steele. Yeah, that'll work.

The anti's are out today to force a change in what Reid has put into the bill. Not surprising and let them continue this path to self-defeatism...

That's it, Olympia: don't let Joe Lieberman steal the spotlight from you!
The Dems may have to suck up to Lieberman AFTER the bill gets to the floor, but they'll have to suck up to you first, to get the bill to the floor in the first place!
Way to make yourself "relevant"!

What awful people we have representing us in Congress. They care more for their egos, their power, their money and getting their face on TV than they care that for every day they delay health care 125 Americans DIE because they can't afford decent care.
It makes me sick.

Lieberman and Olympia, we didn't expect anything less from them. But I have to say, Olympia doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with Lieberman- no human being does.

She appears to be unhappy to find out that she's no longer President.

Snowe seems to be forget her role to represent the people of Maine whenever "public option" comes up in discussion. Why do politicians do that?

It's especially ironic, considering the state of Maine was just sued by WellPoint to be able to raise rates to ensure a profit margin.
Is Snowe's loyalty to
A) Her GOP/Republican/Conservative ideals and views
B) The state of Maine
C) Her local constituents
If your #1 and #2 aren't either B-C or C-B at all times, you're doing a poor job for your people.

No, Olympia, sorry to say it's not about you anymore. Sorry, no more face time. Joe is gonna step into the spotlight now.
Who's next? Wait a minute, how about a real filibuster. Let's get Grayson to call them out.
