We've heard from the governor and senior senator in Louisiana and from the White House responding to the justice of the peace who refuses to marry biracial couples, but the state's junior senator, David Vitter, has stayed conspicuously silent.
Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) wants Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, fired for his actions. The same is true for Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA).
We checked in with Vitter's office, and he hasn't issued any public statements about the matter.
We'll update you if we get a response.

Bardwell looks like the kind of guy who would run a small town speed trap to get people to work on a chain gang.

Hammond has got to be the smallest town in America. It's very cute, but racist and small-minded. The pentacostal church there got busted for having this cult sex ring thing going on with children and animals.
Anyways, the person that they need to nail about the perspective on this is Congressman Steve Scalise.
He's such a turd. This is Bobby Jindal's old district.
The two of them are running their re-election campaigns like they are the White Crusaders saving the First District of Louisiana from the tyranny of Obama and a potential black takeover.

Seems pretty much like a no-brainer to say you're appalled by the Justice's statements. Unless, of course, you're not.
My prediction? He'll weasel out of this the same way Trent Lott and Thad Cochran of Mississippi did, when the issue of the state flag (and it's little Confederate flag component) was brought to them. Vitter will say something like "This is really a local issue, and it would be inappropriate for me, as a federal official, to say something about a state issue", or some such palaver.
Anyone wanna take my bet?

But, but, but ... he's religious! That must mean he's a good man. Listen to what he says, don't look at what he actually does.
YACH! Yet Another Christian Hypocrite.

Vitter sucks-not all that enlightening of a statement, but true nonetheless.

Vitter is really only all about stimulus. His very own variety of stimulus, that is.
Oh yeah, & family values, he's a staunch family values guy.

Vitter's only against inter-diaper sex. He'd never have sex with a gal who's wearing huggies since he's strictly a pampers kinda guy!
