Sigh. Washington waited through a slow holiday week with bated breath for a CBO analysis of Senate health care legislation, which had been expected today. But now sources say the report won't likely be ready until early next week.
The development calls into doubt the likelihood that the bill itself will be introduced on the Senate floor next week. Democratic leaders have vowed to post the bill online for 72 hours before moving the bill toward the floor, and in those 72 hours, they will have to corral all Democratic caucus members into agreeing to proceed to debate.
This week, Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) suggested Democrats would be lucky to get the bill on to the floor before Thanksgiving recess. Looks like they'll be pushing up against that deadline.

Any democrat who doesn't agree to allow debate should be ashamed. Why fear debate?

What are you afraid there isn't enough billions of dollars of insurance company welfare? Or maybe there won't be enough millions of uninsured or bankruptcies to keep you entertained? What do conservatives want? What would Jesus do?

No i am sure there will be plenty there for insurance companies. As for the uninsured do you mean like the 12 million in the house plan? I don't speak for conservatives. I can only speak for my self. As for Jesus... I leave that to him.
As i have posted here and yet to get any answer... what is the end state? If the "crisis" is uninsured? How about addressing why they are uninsured. If it is cost of HC how about addressing why it is so costly?
I don't know the answers and I believe neither does the brain trust we have in congress. Spending 1.2 trillion plus and only scratching at the surface of the root causes of the so called "crisis" doesn't pass the common sense test especially in the financial state of the Federal Govt.
I think these Kings and Queens we have in congress are going to be the only ones that benefit. The rest of us are going to be forced to eat this crap sandwich.
You can try to pretty this all up to make it more palatable but in the end it is still a very expensive piece of crap.
