Obama Has Made The Calls

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tells TPMDC that President Obama has phoned the winners from last night's competitive East Coast races.
Gibbs said Obama has called Gov.-elect Bob McDonnell (R-VA), Gov.-elect Chris Christie (R-NJ) and Rep.-elect Bill Owens (D-NY).
Obama also phoned New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, an independent who won reelection, and he left a message for Rep.-elect John Garamendi (D-CA).
As we reported earlier, Obama phoned the losing candidates last night.

Can someone please tell Obama to hand up the phone on those congrat call? Tell the man that's making Bush look good to:
- get going on breaking up the Top 10 largest US banks (including Goldman and JP Morgan) and REFORM our banking and financial system. He promised that in his campaign.....instead, he's bailing them out and their larger and greedier than ever.
- get going on REVERSING those Bush tax cuts for the rich and start paying down the Fed budget deficit. Obama dropped this ball big time. The middle and lower class are fed up! He has become a turn coat.
- get going and meet your promise of making the same health care plan that he ENJOYED as a Senator available to all Americans. His words - not mine. Instead - know one knows what Obama wants for health care. Does he want a single payer system? Does he want a public option. Or would he rather bail out the insurance companies like he's doing for the banks?
- get going on ending these stupid and costly (lives) and expensive ($'s) wars. He said he'd bring the troops home....the whole world is watching. dither, dither, dither....
- get going on job creation. stop giving all our money to the banks and stop funneling it through bloated government agencies. Tax cuts to businesses that hire Americans and keep them hired for over 12 months. Extend unemployment to those who are really hurting now. Stop funneling money through corrupt processes!....especially one's that are populated by Republicans still.
- get going on getting us off foreign oil. Nice speeches - but where's the action?
I think we the people need to get going....it's time to recall Obama before the Republicans are back in charge. Obama is blowing the opportunity of generation. Where's the change?
