Pawlenty, Romney And Pataki Call New Mayor Of Manchester, New Hampshire
Ted Gatsas, the new Republican mayor-elect of Manchester, New Hampshire, told ABC News that he's already received congratulatory phone calls from Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney and George Pataki. "I don't know who is running for president but I don't mind telling you who has called," said Gatsas.

Biden's Day Ahead
Vice President Biden will host a 10:30 a.m. ET panel of the White House Task Force on Middle Class Families, co-hosted by the Center for American Progress. He will have lunch with President Obama at 12:30 p.m. ET, and will join Obama's 1:40 p.m. ET meeting with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner. He will meet at 3 p.m. ET with Czech President Vaclav Klaus.

Congress Expected To Pass Aid For Jobless, Homebuyers
Congress is set to pass an extension of unemployment benefits, as well as tax breaks for prospective homebuyers and businesses. The bill, which has a price tag of $24 billion, passed yesterday in the Senate and could move through the House today.

Democrats Approving Tax Break For Businesses
The Senate has approved a measure allowing businesses to carry back losses and get refunds on taxes paid over the last five years. Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA) argued that this is necessary to prevent layoffs: "It might not be a job creator, but it will save an awful lot of jobs."

Ehrlich Eyes Tuesday's GOP Wins In Possible 2010 Run
Former Gov. Bob Ehrlich (R-MD), who was defeated for re-election in 2006, told the Washington Post that Tuesday's Republican wins in Virginia and New Jersey would figure into his decision about whether to seek a comeback in 2010. "Our phones started ringing last night, and we got a lot of e-mails at the house," said Ehrlich, though he said he's still going to carefully look at the data: "It's nice, but we're trying to be pretty objective about this analysis."

Mark Warner: 'We Got Walloped'
Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) is dissenting from the national Democrats' take that the gubernatorial losses in New Jersey and his native Virginia did not represent a move away from the party. Warner told the Politico: "We got walloped."
