Tuesday: Joe Biden To Be First Sitting VP To Appear On 'Daily Show'

Vice President Joe Biden tomorrow night will become the first sitting vice president to appear on Comedy Central's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart."
Biden, sometimes known for sticking a foot in his mouth, has appeared five other times on the show.
President Obama pitched in via satellite for a stunt on The Colbert Report earlier this year when Stephen Colbert did his show from Iraq.

I like Biden a lot - even back during the primaries he struck me as the wonkiest. He always seemed to know exactly what the hell he was talking about.
He has this reputation for foot-in-mouth syndrome, but I think it's mostly media generated/perpetuated. Everybody misspeaks occasionally, and the rest of the so-called examples are just Joe being honest. Of course, in our society honesty is seen only as not being clever enough to lie.

Be aware that Joe also has a dark side. Look no further than his due process-busting Federal Forfeiture laws. Moreover, he has done nothing to scrap them, or even reign them in, despite the blatant, never-ending abuses these laws unleashed.
