Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) sat down for an interview with MinnPost, and among other things was asked why she is the object of so much loathing among liberals.
"I don't know. I'm a lovable little fuzz ball!" said Bachmann. "I have no idea what they would have to fear. I guess you would have to ask them; they would have the better answer to your question. I am doing my job. That's what I was elected to do. I don't fear the left, and maybe that's part of the loathing that they feel toward me. I'm not afraid to speak out on conservative positions and on issues. We're a deep-blue state, we're a strong liberal, Democrat state."
Bachmann has previously wondered why Democrats don't like her. We've collected some of the reasons -- such as her having called for revolution against President Obama's Marxist tyranny, and calling upon conservatives to slit their wrists and become blood brothers in the fight against the Democrats on health care, and many other examples.

Maybe you could start calling us the DemocratIC Party, and calling your beloved Minnesota a DemocratIC state. You know, calling things and people what Tom DeLay and Sean Hannity tell you to call them, rather than their actual names, can tend to set people off a bit.

No, her district has just enough of teh crazy - 48% is all she needs with a third-party candidate. Mostly inbred Swedes & Norwegians & Germans in the NW near St. Cloud, mixed in with just enough people who left the Twin Cities for the exurbs because they're scared of Dark-Skinned People (and don't want their taxes to go to school said Dark-Skinned People).
Take a look at the district map MN 6th district and tell me you don't see a gerrymander.

I am sad. I have a huge personal collection of fuzzballs, many of them rare and vintage. Now Michele Bachmann has gone and taken out all the joy of collecting them for me. Guess I will have to put them up on EBay and go on with my now hollow life. :-(

It's a dogwhistle. Rush Limbaugh calls himself a "harmless little fuzzball" all the time. Bachmann is just using the term, because she wants to show she is simpatico with Rush Limbaugh, but in a way that non-dittoheads won't notice.
