Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) denounced the Obama administration yesterday, citing a lack of private-sector experience.

"These people are not connected to reality," Bachmann said on a conference call hosted by the Republican National Committee, the Minnesota Independent reports.

"We're going to kill socialism," Bachmann also said on the call, adding: "They can't have our country. We're not going to let them win."

She's going to keep up with this rhetoric until someone gets hurt.

People already have been hurt because of this kind of batshit crazy nonsense. Remember that bastard who killed the cops in PA because Obama wanted his guns? Tip o' the iceberg.

Well, if anyone an expert on the subject of "not being connected to reality," it's got to be Bachmann. You know, life's experience and all.

Well, I wouldn't call her an expert: an expert has some awareness of the condition. Bachmann shows all the symptoms but none of the awareness. Exemplar? Archetype? Epitome?

It is a truly awe-inspiring phenomenon to see the Repugnut crazies accusing the Obama administration of everything they did and everything they are. (Think also of Rove's absurd charges about the politicization of government.)

Take a look at NY Congressman Jerrold Nadler's role in ACORN here:

See the pattern?

Nadler's dirty on this one and needs to go down.

Bachmann cites a "lack of private-sector experience" for their disconnection from reality? Considering that Bachmann has never held a private-sector job in her professional career (IRS, Minnesota State Senate, Congress), I'd say she might be on to something there.

I think she might have worked as a tax attorney at a firm for a little as well. But when I think of the private-sector I don't really think of "tax attorney." Especially when your entire private-sector experience is dealing with government regulation.

If Bachmann ever held a private-sector job, she's never mentioned it or put it on her resume. Where and when did she work for any private law firm?

I stand corrected. I tried to find some confirmation on my statement. It appears she has held herself out as a federal tax attorney but no one can confirm it.

From what I found, her only private-sector experience was creating a fundamentalist charter school.

It's very interesting. Who's reality is she speaking of? The socialism of corporate socialism that we've been engaging in for years? If she was such a deficit hawk, where was she 3 or 4 years ago when Bush was spending like it was going out of style. This financial crisis was PREDICTED. Did we know it was going to be to this degree? No. But come on, use your freaking brain. Tax cuts don't always create jobs. Sometimes we have to spend money to make money. In economics, its called "sunk costs".

These People Are Not Connected To Reality

That's right, Michele. And not only that, but they're religious bigots who try to shove their religion down everyone else's throat, they make stuff up all the time, accuse members of Congress of being un-American for not agreeing with them, claim to be following God' orders, preach paranoid theories about citizens being shipped off to concentration camps, and...

...What else were you trying to project, Michele? Let's just get all the goofy crap out there now.

There should be a zoo for right wing wackos with the bachlmanns, boehners and inhofes all caged and open for the public to gawk at their inanity. And I mean something other than the state of South Carolina.

This woman is the mirror image of Sarah Palin - talk rubbish that will almost guarantee you a slot on the news. The crazier the talk, the more certain that guarantee. The Fourth Estate needs to ignore this attention-obsessed fool, or at the least expose her for the idiot she is.

"They can't have our country. We're not going to let them win."

This one particular line is a call to arms. She’s been sneaking things like this in many of her speeches. Instead of the “American people” she’s made it about “us and them”. Just what this country needs is more division...and a friggin revolution. This is the brotherly love of the Christian right, please leave all free-thought at the door.

Very revealing. This isn't really about socialism or deficits or health care or any policy issue at all. If a Repulican president were following exactly the same couse, we wouldn't be hearing a peep from these people. This is all about not letting "them" win and bringing "us" back into power.

Makes me think of that famous bear hunting joke, you know, the one with the punchline "This isn't really about hunting, is it?"

Michele Bachmann is not only strict & stern, yet sweet & sensual, she presses all the right buttons. She should really open a "therapy clinic" for lefties with identity issues. Meahwhile, she rocks the House of Reps.

Exactly when did Michele Bachmann stop become a serial liar?
