The White House adds a new meeting to President Obama's schedule: former Vice President Al Gore.
The Oval Office huddle takes place as global climate talks begin in Copenhagen.
The White House says the private, 4:40 p.m. sit-down is "in advance of his Wednesday meeting with business and environmental leaders" about Copenhagen
Gore will attend, and Obama will go at the end of the conference.
Late Update: The White House releases a photo of the meeting, along with Gore's statement supportive of Obama going to Copenhagen.

Ah yes, two fine examples of success, irregardless of competence. Feckless meets fartless.

Very trenchant, Shooter. From your wit and word choice you clearly know how to judge competence. How fartful.

Still flaunting your embarrassing ignorance, we see. It is laughable how lowly Republicans such as yourself think that showing their gross ignorance on various topics is a good thing. See "Palin, Sarah" as another prime example.

At night the Earth looks like its on fire from all the lightpoles burning away. They burn at an average of 250 Watts, we have about 7 million miles of roads with a light pole every 100 feet. Why don't they retrofit a motion sensor to the dawn to dusk sensor that way those light get used only when needed. There you go a small change with big impact and the world won't look like its on fire.

of course, Al Gore didn't do squat about climate change when he held the reigns of power, and his personal footprint is quite large. don't expect Obama the "centrist" to do much differently

"Held the reigns of power?" He was Vice President back when the President still ran the executive.
You are confusing Al Gore with Dick Cheney.

I like Al, but I hope the President gets the opportunity to thank him for making Joe Lieberman a national figure.
