Rep. Parker Griffith (D-AL R-AL) might be facing some opposition on right after his party switch, but he is being welcomed to the GOP by one top name: Sarah Palin.

Palin posted this on her Twitter account: "Congratulations Alabama! And all Americans concerned about Capitol Hill's current agenda;Rep Parker Griffith just did the right thing.Welcome"

Other big right-wing names, such as the Club For Growth and Erick Erickson, are already laying the groundwork for a primary challenge against Griffith by what they would think of as a truly loyal conservative. But so far at least, Palin is greeting the new GOP Congressman with open arms.

Just remember Rep. Griffith.. whenever Palin thinks she can benefit, she'll be right there at your side. Just ask Sen. Walnuts.

And I'm sure Jim DeMint will be the first Republican calling to set up a fundraiser, heh.

Savvy & seductive Sarah Palin is keeping a close watch on Congress & the White House. She rules the the hearts & minds of ordinary, hard-working citizens from coast to coast. Her word of approval is the gold standard in politics today.

...he has a sick obsession and has his own reality.

or

...the furnace in his trailer is busted and the fumes are killing braincells.

or

...he read her book and the secret code that she put in there just for him told him so.

or

...he's her dad in disguise.

I'm pretty sure it's a troll. Check the other comments coming from the account. It's never anything of substance, just superficial praise for conservative candidates and policies with the occasional lashing out against liberal policies.

Move along. Nothing to see here. ;)

Have you noticed...?? Sarah's male detractors share a common malady: An abundance of venom & vitriol, compounded by a lack of virility. Sad...

Have you noticed? Sarah's protectors regard stupidity and ignorance as a virtue. Only dead fish and trolls go with the flow. Sad ...

A good rule of thumb to use is that any message that begins "Congratulations Alabama!" is either sarcastic or is written by someone with whom most outside the South would disagree.

Sarah Palin seems to be running scared of those Alaskans she's deemed "bored, anonymous, pathetic bloggers" -- nevermind that she's now a pajama-clad blogger and tweeter herself.

Sarah Palin sent out this Tweet before she left on the Hawaii vacation with her acolyte...er, daughter Piper, her prop baby Tri-G, and that fellow she's apparently married to: "Sounds like the Alaska book signing events 4 general public will be Dec 22, hopefully in both Anchorage&1 other location. Bundle up&join us! 6:55 PM Dec 15th from TwitterBerry."

But at 11 AM this morning (Alaska time) Alaska radio personality, blogger, and HuffPo contributor Shannyn Moore, as well as Alaska blogger Jesse Griffen and talented Alaska photo/videographer Dennis Zaki found out that Sarah Palin had made up an "enemies list" (a la Richard Nixon) for this final "Going Rogue" book signing event in Wasilla, and their names were on it -- despite the venue being a public place paid for by Wasilla taxpayers, rented for 3 hours by HarperCollins.

As Griffen ("Gryphen") tells it...

"My first hint that something may be wrong down in Who-ville was when I was asked for my ID, not once, but twice. Then as Dennis and I were about to sign in, and the lady behind the desk took our picture with a little digital camera! WTF? I have never had anybody do that before at any other event that I attended as a media representative. I wondered why there was such tight security, unaware that my question was only seconds from being answered.
Almost as soon as I had my picture taken I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned around and came face to face with a local police officer who quickly apologized and then informed me that I was on the 'banned list'.
'I am on the WHAT list?' I asked.
'The banned list sir, I am going to have to escort you off of the property. THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT.'
I looked over and saw Dennis talking to somebody else, and clearly receiving the same information.
On my way toward the door I stopped to wait for Dennis so that we could leave together, however the police officer again placed his hand on my shoulder and insisted that I continue on toward the exit. They clearly were under orders to get me off of the premises as quickly as possible."
