You loved Demon Sheep. So did the Carly Fiorina campaign -- it says today that, due the overwhelming success of yesterday's web ad, the voting public can expect even more gems from its web video department.
The world "can expect to see equally if not more shocking web-based ads or videos," a Fiorina spokeswoman tells the Daily Beast's Benjy Sarlin. (Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, is running for Senate from California.)
"It's been touted as the most genius ad ever all the way down to the worst, but no matter what, people are talking about it and it generates views," said the spokeswoman, Julie Soderlund, saying the video has been a "great success."
If you haven't seen the video, watch:
(We looked around, and New York Magazine, at least, did call Fiorina an "internet genius.")
As you can see above, the video calls Fiorina's Republican primary opponent, Tom Campbell, a "fiscal conservative in name only," or FCINO. Soderlund ended the mystery and explained how to pronounce it:
"It's 'fuh-see-no'," Soderlund said.

Huh. I guess calling your supporters sheep and flashing images of pigs and sheep when describing pork and gutless moves respectively is a good campaign tactic now.
Personally, I'd go with calling your supporters rats and having them streaming off a sinking ship run aground by your opposition, but I suppose cud-chewing ewes are offensive enough.

Ah yes, the old "all publicity is good publicity" fallback. I believe we last heard this song coming from the McCain campaign, circa September 2008.
Perhaps she should start kicking puppies at every press conference. Whether you love the idea or hate it, by God, people would be paying attention to this bold, game-changing, maverick leader!

Hey, if Carly wants to throw money down a rat hole, I could do ads which could make Tom Campbell look interesting, too.

Fiorina does have one major accomplishment to brag about. When she was finally kicked out of HP, the engineers were popping champagne.
Unlike the country after Bush, they could still afford champagne - that's the accomplishment.

This loon has jumped the shark. She was terrible as CEO of HP and she was illegally tapping the phones of board members?????? She should be in jail, not running for office. She is unfit to serve in any political office.
