Ugh. Yes, by all means give the President the entire hour all to himself.

In light of the fact that the repukes have a 41 seat majority in the senate, I guess mcbush can consider himself the winner as well. You know those guys and the media. They own the media and the media regurgitates the lies spewed by the tools as facts.

Once again, there is no reason to watch MTP.

And the no-liberals-on-teevee rule continues pretty much unabated. 8 conservatives including several extreme reactionaries, 1 corporate centrist, and 2 liberals (3 if you count Pelosi twice). Disgraceful.

Conflict drives ratings. If you only have the majority on, it's like that Itchy and Scratchy cartoon where I % S are sitting in rocking chairs drinking lemonade. Not exciting TV. Of course, conflict for conflict's saks isn't really informative, either.

I don't know why NBC doesn't just let McCain host Meet The Press.

Oh, mcbush is too busy lying all over the place and causing havoc. The right-wing media would rather have the repuke tool gregory host and spew their lies and garbage as "journalism."

I'd love to see a last minute substitution of Rachel Maddow standing in for David Gregory.

Absolutely. She is a journalist and asks good pointed questions. Her politics are irrelevant. She is an excellent journalist. But of course we would never see a real journalist on a Sunday morning propoganda fest. That is too much to ask for.

Of course we need Grampy McCain. Why, he was dissed by the scary black man, so we need to let him explain why his lies are more true than the President's facts.

McCain on television is a plus for Obama and Dems. He'll also try to out teabag Hayworth, meaning he's say more ridiculous shit than usual, whereas folks outside of Arizona will just think he's further lost it.

If you have a rodant problem, my I suggest that when "Meet the Precious" come on, open all the doors in your TV room and the little cridders will run from the sound of her voice. Someone put up a pic of her from Time Magazine in our hunting lodge outhouse, I really dont know why..

McCain invited to be on MTP with his best boy, David Gregory. I called that right here several days ago leading up to the health care summit. Of course, so could any 3rd grader.
Seriously though, Gregory ought to be ashamed of himself for love affair with McCain. He fails to realize McCain lost *badly*, that only 25 percent of Americans identify themselves Republican now, the Democrats are the majority party, and that no losing Democratic presidential candidate was ever invited onto MTP so frequently after losing. Gregory also owes a serious apology to whatever journalism school he may have attended.

And he owes a serious apology to the American people and Iraqi people for not doing his job in the lead up to the Iraq war. He helped spew the propoganda and felt it was "unpatriotic" to question the invasion of a sovereign country and the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of innocents. He should be flipping hamburgers, not "hosting" a propoganda fest.

I'm outraged that they only booked one of the Only Three Men in Washington Who Matter. I suppose we can assume McCain speaks for Lieberman and Graham, but just the thought that the other two are going to have to spend the day off camera makes me weep. It's tragic, really.
