A spokesman for Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) tells us that he is not the member who yelled “baby killer” at Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) last night.
“Dr. Broun did not make the comment and he does not know who did,” says Communications Director Debbee Keller.
Broun, among the most conservative members of Congress, has been known to use terms like “killer” in denunciations of the health care bill.
