One of the Republican candidates seeking to run against Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL), Navy veteran and former airline pilot Dan Fanelli, has a new ad openly advocating the use of racial profiling at airports.

"Does this look like a terrorist?" Fanelli says, pointing to an elderly white man. "Or this?" he asks, turning to a burly tan-skinned man with facial hair.

Fanelli defended the ad to Greg Sargent, saying that people from countries such as Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Syria "require a higher level of security."

"If the people that were doing this kind of thing looked like me, even though I'm not the guy doing the terrorist thing I would want to be examined more closely," said Fanelli.

Fanelli should probably be considered one of the lower-tier candidates in a crowded primary, in which the top GOP candidates are former state Sen. Dan Webster, state Rep. Curt Kelly and businessman Bruce O'Donoghue. On the other hand, anything can happen in a crowded primary -- and Fanelli's ads should certainly get him some attention.

And if Fanelli were to come from behind and win the GOP nomination...just imagine the general election between him and Alan Grayson.

Also check out this other Fanelli ad. "This is an airplane -- and this is a terrorist," says Fanelli, with the dark-skinned actor now wearing an explosive vest, but apparently having been captured and with duct tape over his mouth:

And this one, dramatizing the nightmares of ObamaCare, with an elderly man being informed by his sad and disappointed doctor that he has passed the age limit to receive treatment for his condition:

Again, just imagine a Grayson vs. Fanelli race.

Thank God for Grayson - he will not hesitate to call this man a liar. And point out that insurance companies decide who not to treat all the time.

Where does this insanity end?

The GOP must have a laboratory in Florida, where they crank out gators and jack-ass politicians!

Let me refresh your memory, Fanelli. Does the moniker "Jihad Jane" ring a bell?

While you're pulling aside and strip-searching everyone who vaguely resembles a citizen of a Middle East country, smarter people than you (the bar's pretty low) will find a lily white person who doesn't fit the race, gender, and age category that you're looking for and get them to deliver the payload. It'll be so simple to get them past security if we stoop to your dumbass approach.

Funny how a racist like that does not show a White Protestant like Timothy McVeigh as a likely terrorist. Or an abortion doctor killer. Or make mention of the fact that the vendor who reported the smoking car in Times Square was...Muslim.

This is a prime example of just how stupid the teabaggers are. Obviously they don't know that most Islamic extremists are not Arabs; just as most Muslims are not from the Middle East.

It was a horrid, terrorist attack. When will Fanelli come out in favour of profiling all 89yr old white guys?

Come on, let's just go full retard*. Let's sew a scarlet "A" on aliens, legal or otherwise, and let's sew yellow crescent moons on Muslims.

*retard used for satirical purposes only.

He's echoing what was said about Italians by such groups as the Klan and the American Protective Association. And who knows--those Irish names among his opponents might be IRA supporters too? And let's not forget Tim McVeigh.

I am not sure if someone that flies a plane into the IRS is a terrorist because he was white.

Under this dillweeds logic, Timothy McVeigh would not be a terrorist.

As I look at this guy, I get this idea for sexuality profiling. Oh its just so wrong.
