Rand Paul: My Win Shows ‘We Are Encountering A Day Of Reckoning’ (VIDEO)

Kentucky Republican Senate Nominee Rand Paul

Tea Party favorite Rand Paul, who just won the Republican Senate primary in Kentucky against Secretary of State Trey Grayson, spoke from a local country club after his win. Paul said that “Washington is horribly broken. We stand on a precipice. We are encountering a day of reckoning.”

Paul began by saying he brings “a message from the Tea Party. A message that is loud and clear and does not mince words. We’ve come to take our government back.”

He continued: “We’ve come to take our government back from the special interest who think that the federal government is their own personal ATM.”

“The tea party movement is huge,” said Paul. “The mandate of our victory tonight is huge.”

“What I say to Washington is, ‘Watch out, here we come,’” he said.
