Biden Sends Fundraising E-Mail For Blanche Lincoln

Vice President Joe Biden sent out a fundraising e-mail for Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) today, saying "Lincoln always does what is right for Arkansas" and that she is the state's "strongest advocate."

The e-mail comes ahead of a June 8 Democratic Senate primary runoff between Lincoln and Lt. Gov. Bill Halter. The TPM Poll Average shows Halter leading Lincoln 47.3%-44.7%.

I have known Blanche for a long time and this I know to be true: Blanche Lincoln always does what is right for Arkansas. No matter what.

In all the years I have known her, when I've asked her for something, if Blanche doesn't think it's good for Arkansas, she smiles at me, tells me how much she loves me and then tells me "No, Joe."
