California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina's latest ad looks past her upcoming GOP primary battle against Tom Campbell and Chuck DeVore and on to a bigger foe -- Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer.

The ad attacks Boxer for calling climate change "one of the very important national security issues we face." Fiorina counters: "Terrorism kills and Barbara Boxer's worried about the weather?"

The TPM Poll Average for a possible general election matchup shows Boxer leading Fiorina 45.3%-39.6%.

Gee Carly, even the US MILITARY says climate change is a HUGE threat to the US, so back to the corporate welfare mines for you.

She ruined HP, but California's already broken, so what's the point of electing her now?

What climate change? Boxer is still mired in the last century. New scientific studies have debunked so-called global warming as huckster hokum for self-promoters like Fat Albert Gore.

Care to point to these "studies" because they're either: A. From a right wing job that is funded by the oil industry or B. Pul.led out of your behind.

Seriously, when folks on the other side don't think there's even a problem, that's the DEFINITION of blinding yourself from reality

A noun, a verb, and terrorism.

Good plan. May it get you as far as it did Rudy.

In this case it appears that "terrorism" was the noun. But your point is well taken...she seriousy thinks that playing terrorism against climate change is going to work? In California?

Ever noticed that the armored cars outside Las Vegas casinos aren't bringing money INTO the casinos? What does that tell you. Glaciers are melting worldwide at unprecedented rates. Carly Fiorina would have you believe that they are doing the opposite.

If Carly wins the primary, which is looking likely, it will only further cement Barbara Boxer's place as one of the luckiest politicians of all time.

Talk about a "name recognition problem!"

Even if the guy had accomplished something spectacular in his life, people still wouldn't know him from the eight million other Bill Joneses out there.

Carly ought to read the military's judgments on this issue. Mass migrations and refugees, scarcity of key resources, especially clean water, famines and wars, all are threats to our security as well as to the people where they happen. She is really out of her depth, and can't really grasp where the majority of Californians are ideologically and culturally.

These head-in-the-sand denialists drive me crazy. Too bad they'll all be dead by the time the climate is REALLY doing poorly so we can't laugh in their faces.

Let us not forget that George W. Bush ignored warnings about impending terrorist attacks in the U.S. using aircraft as weapons. We'll see who will be reading "My Pet Goat" when ocean levels begin to rise.

Hey Carly, the Pentagon commissioned a study of climate change, calling it a greater threat than terrorism. All Boxer has to do is run an ad showing the title page...even your dimwitted fans could understand that.

Consider Carly's audience right now - a bunch of teabagging, rightwing, badly educated, racist, homophobic, anti-science trolls, i.e., GOP primary voters. Hell, she'll come out against teaching evolution or a heliocentric view of the universe.

What an ignorant imbecile. In typical republican fashion it’s the dumb appealing to the dumber. And I wouldn’t brag about running Hewlett Packer considering Fiorna almost destroyed the company
