Jack Conway Raises $1 Million, Plus $400K In Self-Financing

KY Sen. candidates Rand Paul (R) and Jack Conway (D)

The two Senate campaigns in Kentucky have been bringing in big money — some self-financing helping the Democratic nominee, state Attorney General Jack Conway, boost his haul.

Conway’s campaign announced that they raised $1.4 million. The Associated Press reports that this includes about $400,000 in loans from the candidate himself. The Paul campaign had previous announced raising $1.1 million, which in a press release today they said is “beating Democrat Jack Conway by over $100,000,” not counting Conway’s self-financing. Cash on hand figures were not immediately available.

The TPM Poll Average gives Paul a lead of 48.8%-41.8%
