Jon Stewart watched in awe last night as the gang at Fox News slammed President Barack Obama for what Stewart called their fear of "Muslims in space."
As TPM previously reported, conservatives have been fear-mongering about a new initiative in the space program to promote outreach to Muslim nations.
"What kind of presidential asshole would use the space program to build a bridge to peace?" Stewart asked, before showing a clip of President Ronald Reagan talking about using the space program to work with the Soviet Union.
"Liberal fartbag," said Stewart. "That guy had a pre-Cold War mentality when it came to NASA."

Just to keep the fear-mongering alive, remember that Ronald Wilson Reagan was "666" personified!

Just because somebody's first, middle and last names
are all 6 letters long that doesn't disprove the fact
that 'Ronald Wilson Reagan' = 'insane anglo WaRloRd'
spelled sideways. Let's not forget that.

You say "will" like it's something that will happen in the future - better to make it "Fox News HAS made you dumb".

What's funny and also sad is that these people don't realize that Islam is based on those same 'Judeo-Christian' values. They also have the 10 commandments idiots.

I love you Jon and, if you're not too busy at Adam & Steve's wedding reception, I'd like to try for the opportunity to bear your next set of children...if, of course, it's OK with Jesus.

Jon Stewart is the only one calling out these fools for their nonsense... I only hope that they watch him and think to themselves "I'm such a douche"

I would like to see the Black Panthers take over all the military and all city police departments in America. Then you crackers will know what it is like to be black in America.
Also open all the boarders and allow slavery to be government regulated and taxed, and come out from the under the table industry it is now.

Of course there have been several muslim astronauts which have flown aboard the International Space Station, like Salizhan Sharipov, Anousheh Ansari, Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor and Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who flew on the Space Shuttle Discovery STS-51 back on June 17-24, 1985 when Reagan was in office (which dovetails with what Stewart was rightly blasting these troglodyte "conservatives" over). He was also the first Arab, first Muslim and first member of royalty in space.

I am praying for all of you. The federal government has taken that right away from our schools under separation of church and state. However, Obama tries to shape the face of our space program a taxpayer based entity with pandering to Muslims and no one asks where is the line. It is because this nation and its leaders hate for Christ that we are suffering. I would also like to address the thought process that Christianity looks anything like Islam. There is no other religion in the world in which a loving God asks us to love one another and set the example himself.

For you Stewart bashers:
This is a copy of my little investigation, besides who you like or dont, or call me a liberal thats fine. These are facts, no opinion spin (except the 3 parts I say it), do your research like I did using. DIFFERENT outlets, that means non-partisan and see what you find.
Jon Stewart has actively supported the following charities:
Autism Speaks
Comic Relief
Feeding America
Parkinsong Foundation
Robin Hood
Stand Up To Cancer
Television Academy Foundation
Stephen Colbert has actively supported the following charities:
Autism Speaks
Charity Folks
Collaboration Foundation
Comic Relief
Feeding America
First Book
Global Fund for Women
Parkinson Society Maritime Region
Save the Children
Yellow Ribbon Fund
Stephen Colbert has received a donation of $100,000 from Microsoft’s Bing to help clean up the Gulf oil spill – My Opinion, kind of cheesy to get ratings but I guess a 100k is a 100k for the gulf.
Rush Limbaugh has actively supported the following charities:
The heritage Foundation
His only notable (2007) but excellent donation $2.1 mil to Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation Inc (4.2 he matched the winning bid of 2.1)
Sean Hannity has actively supported the following charities:
Freedom Concert – To raise money for tuition of children of fallen soldiers and to pay severely wounded war vets, in fact, less than 20%–and in two recent years, less than 7% and 4%, respectively–of the money raised by Freedom Alliance went to these causes.
Glenn Beck has actively supported the following charities:
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation – As listed on the website “All contributions made to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) will first be applied to the costs of the Restoring Honor Rally taking place on August 28, 2010. All contributions in excess of these costs will then be retained by the SOWF.” The funds go to Glenn’s August 28th rally and if anything is left it goes to SWOF, (my opinion) I guess Beck making 18 million last year wasn’t enough for him to even pay for his own rally.
My opinion, SWOF is a noble organization, I just think it is a shame such a great non-profit is being exploited this way.
Bill O’Reilly
Lists charities he endorses but I am having a problem finding out what, if anything, he does for any of these except list them on his website.
