Missouri Tea Partiers Rip Michele Bachmann For Backing Roy Blunt

Tea party groups in Missouri are furious that national tea party icon, Rep. Michele Bachmann, endorsed the strong frontrunner for the Senate nomination Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO). Bachmann will join Blunt for a fundraiser and to make campaign calls in his St. Louis headquarters Saturday.
Given that Bachmann has emerged as a tea party hero and formed the brand-new Tea Party Caucus in Congress, the groups said "we were shocked" that she is backing Blunt since he voted for the TARP bailout funds and "Cash for Clunkers."
"We believe she has been grossly misled if she understands him to be a Missouri Tea Party candidate," read a statement issued by 38 groups from the Show Me state, claiming to represent more than 8,660 activists. The statement came with a list of the groups, noting they have "NOT" endorsed Blunt.
The Eureka Tea Party said Bachmann is risking the "status" of her caucus by taking sides.
"The Tea Party is not the Republicans to claim. This is the citizen's movement and we will not stand for any politicians to try to use us for their own political gain," wrote MID MO 9/12 Patriots in a statement.
FiredUp Missouri reports that Blunt skipped the first tea party rally in April 2009, even though he was in town that day. Other tea party groups declined to invite him to further rallies.
As we mentioned yesterday, Blunt is facing a challenge from state lawmaker Chuck Purgason in next Tuesday's primary election. There are 18 candidates in total on the primary ballot. Blunt is expected to handily win the nomination and go on to face Robin Carnahan (D) in the general election.

We think an 18 candidate field in an obscure district is worth repudiating the closest thing we have to a friend in Congress. We're for less government intervention, unless we're talking about a woman's uterus. We're against government health care, unless we're talking about Medicare. We're against government spending, but don't touch Medicare. We're for making each worker's social security contributions their own private retirement fund, but don't touch benefits to current recipients. We think Obama is a socialist for bailing out GM and Chrysler, and we worship Ronald Reagan, who bailed out Chrysler. We hate socialism, and don't you dare touch social security. We're all for the constitution, except when it allows you to build a mosque.

It would be funny to observe these sub-humans from afar, like as far as I can get on the globe from here. Unfortunately these cretins are being foisted upon us as viable leaders by the corporate media. One can only pin their hopes on the efficacy of imprecatory prayers to rid humanity of these scumbags who are mis-leading the sheeple.

Ms. Bachmann probably needs what one of the characters in The Emigrants said a woman needed (the scene is on a riverboat as they traveled towards Minnesota). There must be a desperate shortage of creditable politicians in the US to allow this creature to have so much exposure.

To answer 'Paul', yes, I have a suggestion for a Teabagger 'party' slogan, and it just might catch on (maybe not with them, lol):
"THE TEA PARTY: WE'RE ALL TOTALLY FUCKIN' NUTS!"

This is further confirmation of what I wrote on my blog back in April: That the Tea Party movement poses a far greater threat to Republicans than to Democrats because the movement is made up primarily of the Republican Party's hard-core electoral base.
