There's evidence this morning that even more tea partiers are seeking to distance themselves from the Tea Party Express' Mark Williams and his racially-tinged rhetoric. In an email sent to its members this morning, the Tea Party Nation group appeared to back away from Williams and make it clear that it doesn't agree with his controversial anti-NAACP blog post.
"As most of you are aware, one of the leaders in the tea party movement posted a controversial blog many took to be racist," Tea Party Nation leaders wrote in the email obtained by TPMDC. "Tea Party Nation and many other groups have repudiated racism and racists ... We have banned members who were racists and will ban any members who show themselves to be racist."
"The Tea Party Movement is not racist," the leaders add. "Tea Party Nation welcomes all patriots, regardless of gender, ethnicity or national origin to join us and help save this great country."
Over the weekend, the Tea Party Federation expelled Williams and the Tea Party Express after Williams' anti-NAACP screed caused days of controversy on the national news.
Williams has refused to talk to the media about the Tea Party Federation's move, but posted a long post to his blog over the weekend slamming the expulsion as little more than a publicity stunt.

But when the NAACP asked them to do this, they said NAACP was stirring up trouble.

" a controversial blog many took to be racist"
They just can't bring themselves to state the obvious, that it WAS racist. How hard is it to say - 'that's racist, that's what we're talking about, don't do it.'

Well, even TPM can't bring itself to call his speech racist--just "racially tinged."
When Williams says that blacks want hard-working whites to pay higher taxes so that lazy, unemployed-by-choice blacks can have "a wide screen TV in every room," I'm sorry but that is not racially tinged, it's racism, and it's deep-dyed.

What's funny is that they are SO racist.......
How racist are they?
They're so racist that when the NAACP accuses them of being racist they can't even deny being racist without using a boat*load of racist remarks.
It's like accusing a thief of stealing things and in an effort to counter the charges he just starts taking all kinds of stolen property out of his pockets right in front of everyone.
It's like Soupy Sales playing David Duke.

Teabaggers have a problem. How to "refudiate" ( Palinism ) racists like Mark Williams while being racists themselves.
It is their hatred and inability to accept the reality of a Black president that motivated these hardcore GOP base to take to our streets with loaded assault rifles and vile, racist signs.
These far right wing extremists are the ones who twice elected Bush - the big spender and violator of the constitution.
They were 100% behind a guy who was an ex-alcoholic, formed cocaine addict, displayed brain damage from his years of substance abuse, had a DUI conviction, was a suspected draft dodger, spied on America citizens without warrants, paid for tax cuts to the rich with borrowed money, drove the economy into a ditch, and implemented TARP...
They loved Bush. But as soon as Black man won the White House, these radical right wingers took to the streets with their vile, hateful and racist signs---even carried loaded weapons to Obama's events.

Even the 1/2 term dingbat from Alaska has recently taken to referring to President Obama as "half white" and "half black."
They don't want to expel any racists in their ranks. They need them, one and all. And Palin isn't even smart enough to work a dog whistle.
"Mankind" is lucky to be blessed with such stupid enemies.

Half term *governor*.
She's always been a dingbat, and always will be--for the full term of her natural life.

So they're booting out mark williams, will you be able to tell the difference between tea party express and tea party anything else at rallies?
It's funny how there are like three or four different tea parties. Truly this is a movement structured to make no true scotsman fallacies easy.

The Tea Party is nothing more than a dying breed of Progressive Democrats whom have always been on the wrong end of the American public. Calling it socialism is simply a in-kind-word. So when Obama is tossed to the dog pack as food what is left are left-wing hypocritical Tea Party member's without a job. How long you expect that will last, without a job? Sarah Palin has pushed more than a few buttons in her lifetime and I would say a small dog-whistle button could blast the skin right off poor ole' Mia Kulper so who's voting for the New Progressive Tea Party it stands tall against the Democrat Progressives that Obama has coach whipped into slavery politics. Call it COMPETITION, and that has nothing whatsoever to do with RACISM or INTERNAL RACISM of the New Progressive Tea Party.
