A new Rasmussen poll of the Illinois Senate race out this morning has Democratic state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias and Republican Rep. Mark Kirk deadlocked, 40%-40%.

The TPM Poll Average of the race is a near tie, with Kirk on top by the slimmest of margins, 40.6%-40.5%. The margin of error for the latest Rasmussen poll is ±4.0 percentage points.
