Spanish-Language Ad Hits Whitman Over Undocumented Maid Issue (VIDEO)

Ad from an SEIU-backed organization,

The SEIU-backed Cambiando California group wasted no time turning California Republican gubernatorial nominee Meg Whitman’s ex-maid issue into a campaign ad.

Yesterday, an undocumented woman who worked as a maid for Whitman for nine years said in a press conference that she had been financially and emotionally abused by the the former eBay CEO. Today, Cambiando California’s ad says: “Whitman attacks undocumented workers to win votes, but an undocumented woman worked in her home for nine years.”

“She’s a two-faced woman,” the ad says, in Spanish.

The TPM Poll Average for this race shows Whitman (45.1%) leading Democrat Jerry Brown (44.7%).
