Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell has a new ad up where she directly confronts the endless reel of video tape from her past.
“I am not a witch,” O’Donnell says in the 30-second, staring straight at the camera. “I’m you.”
O’Donnell, who has said in at least two clips that she “dabbled” into witchcraft and experimented with religion, makes the case in her debut television ad for the Senate race that if she wins, she would take Delaware voters’ agenda to the Capitol.

“None of us are perfect, but none of us can be happy with what we see all around us,” O’Donnell said in the ad, which will start running Tuesday. “Politicians who think spending, trading favors and back-room deals are the ways to stay in office. I’ll go to Washington and do what you’d do.”
