The new Fox News poll of the Connecticut Senate race has Democratic state Attorney General Richard Blumenthal continuing to lead Republican World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon, though it’s possible that McMahon could be catching up again.
The numbers: Blumenthal 49%, McMahon 43%. The survey of likely voters has a ±3% margin of error. In the previous Fox poll from last week, Blumenthal led by wider margin of 52%-42%.

The poll gives Blumenthal a solid favorable rating of 53%, with 40% unfavorable, though this is down slightly from 55%-37% last week. McMahon’s favorables remain in negative territory at 44%-48%, though this is improved a bit from 40%-51% last week.
The TPM Poll Average gives Blumenthal a lead of 51.3%-43.2%.
