PPP Poll: Yup, CO-SEN Is Real Close

Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate race in Colorado Ken Buck and Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO)

A new PPP Poll of the Colorado Senate race shows Republican Ken Buck with a one-point lead over Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet, 49%-48%.

While Buck looked like he might pull away a few weeks ago, recent polls have shown a close contest, and Buck has had to deal with a couple gaffes and a perceived weakness on women’s issues. The last PPP poll, from Oct. 23, showed Buck and Bennet tied at 47%.

Meanwhile, The Denver Post reports that both parties are getting ready for the possibility of a recount.

The TPM Poll Average for this race shows Buck leading 48.2%-46.0%.
