Donald Trump was at his Donald Trumpiest in his CPAC speech today, bragging that he’s “acquainted with winning,” and declaring that Ron Paul “cannot get elected” as President.
Trump said he would decide on a presidential run by June, but that he’s considering it because the U.S. has become “the whipping post for the rest of the world,” and has become the “laughingstock of the world.”
He continued: “I wish there was a candidate that I saw that would be fantastic because I love what I’m doing.” When people in the crowd shouted Ron Paul’s name, Trump said: “By the way, Ron Paul cannot get elected. I’m sorry.”
Trump was promptly booed.
