File this one under: brevity win. Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor (D) is one of the 14 Democrats who staged a walkout Thursday, and who no one seems to be able to locate. But that doesn’t mean she has been in total hiding.
This afternoon, Taylor posted the following message — which TPM is reproducing in its entirety — on what appears to be her Facebook page:
As of this posting, 119 people have “liked” the message. In addition to Facebook, Taylor has also apparently been active on Twitter today.
The Democratic walkout was designed to deny Republicans the necessary number of lawmakers needed for a vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s controversial proposals that would strip most state government workers of their collective bargaining rights.
