Say what you will about Donald Trump, but he sure knows his strengths. “Part of the beauty of me is that I’m very rich,” he told ABC’s Ashleigh Banfield.
In an interview with ABC News that aired Thursday morning, Banfield asked Trump how much he thinks it would cost to run for president. “5 or 600 hundred million dollars,” he said. “I’m talking if you go all the way.”
“I’d put up a lot,” Trump continued. “If i didn’t get people helping me, I’d put up all of it. Depending on how I’m doing.”
Banfield asked if Trump has all $600 million to put up. He said “I have much more than that.”
“I mean part of the beauty of me is that I’m very rich. So $600 million — I can put up $600 million myself,” Trump added. “That’s a huge advantage. That’s a huge advantage over the other candidates.”
