Jon Stewart Blasts McCain, Graham Hypocrisy Over Susan Rice

Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart on Wednesday took on Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham for attacking UN Ambassador Susan Rice over the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

The Republican senators are vowing to block Rice if President Obama nominates her to succeed Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, because she went on the Sunday talk shows and recited talking points that turned out to be wrong.

But rewind to a decade ago, Stewart said, when McCain and Graham supported American intervention in Iraq and even defended former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s erroneous claims of weapons of mass destruction in that country.
