Obama Lauds Senate For Passing Financial Reform Bill

President Barack Obama lauded the Senate's passage today of a historic financial reform bill -- a bill Obama is expected to sign next week.

"Wall Street reform will bring greater security to those on Main Street," the president said.

Ohio Republican Senate nominee Rob Portman has fractured his collarbone in a mountain biking accident, he announced on Twitter.

just got out of x-ray, fractured my collarbone mtn biking w my son Will. will be in a sling for a couple weeks. great ride until i fell!

The TPM Poll Average shows Democrat Lee Fisher leading Portman 42.5-41.4.
