CENSORSHIP! Dems Cry Foul Over GOP Interference With Medicare Mailers

House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)

Dem Congressman Swats Away Opponent's Hand, Apologizes (VIDEO)

Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) and Republican opponent Ryan Frazier

Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) is in some trouble, Politico reports, for apparently slapping away his opponent's hand during a debate. So what happened?

As Politico reports, in a debate with his Republican opponent, Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier, Perlmutter said that the recent health care reform law is not a government takeover of health care, and that it does contain tort reform. Frazier then interrupted, asking "what page" tort reform was on. "Section 6618," Perlmutter responded. When Frazier continued to point across to Perlmutter and ask "what page," Perlmutter pushed Frazier's hand away.

"Hey, don't hit me man, come on!" said Frazier.

"Sorry. Sorry," said Perlmutter. "You're right. Sorry. You're right."

It's possible that some might see this as evidence that Democrats are such pushovers that the best they can do when an opponent repeatedly invades their personal space is to push the hand away, and then apologize. Just imagine -- if this had been a Republican Congressman, he might have been shaking his fist, and then raised money off of the whole scene.
